I remember those two sawtute. Very well. Since you found our relic for us, I will permit you to stay in the clan and learn from us. But connecting with the Memory Tree is no simple affair.
She was approached by Raven and Ro'até, who requested access to the Memory Tree, as Raven was trying to find out what happened to their mother and father. Angat allowed Raven to remain with the clan.[1]
When one of the clan members is attacked by disease, Angat rejects Raven's proposal to use the Sky People's medicine, claiming that the disease is a test inflicted by Eywa herself and her will should not be interfered with. Raven objects, saying that in this case, Raven's own arrival may be part of Eywa's plans. This argument convinces Angat.
Later, Angat appears at the initiation ceremony of several tribal children. The Hulanta clan village has been hit by heavy rainfall, but the clan elders do not agree to postpone the trial. Angat then offers Raven to make appropriate tools for the young Na'vi so that they can safely cross the river as part of their trial.
As the situation in the Wetlands begins to escalate due to the interference of RDA forces, Raven tries to convince the clan leaders to open negotiations with Trinity Harper. Angat joins Tiaru and Taktu on an expedition to the RDA base, although negotiations ultimately fail due to an attack by a squadron of flying machines on the clan's Hometree.
Following the War of the Wetlands, Angat's fate is unknown, but she is taken into holding by the RDA. Ro'até and Raven discover the Tayrangi Clan is being held captive by the RDA, and the two decide to head to the Tayrangi prison camp in hopes of finding Angat.
Trivia[]
In the Avatar: Reckoning script, Ro'até is seen calling Angat her mother with the line, "Angat... My mother... Hulanta Tsahìk! Is she there?" This suggests after Ro'até's father No'eng died, Angat found another mate (Tiaru). Also, this would mean Angat is also the mother of O'ame and an deceased unnamed son.
