I will not allow the Sky People to best us. Not again. They will regret the day they crossed the Kame'tire.
Anufi is a Na'vi who is the tsahìk and a master healer of the Kame'tire clan in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Her advisor was Mokasa.
She wears a prosthetic arm created by the wood shaper, Uniluk, after she damaged the limb in an accident making medicines.
She had slipped away in self-exile from the clan and found it easier to relate to the dead and the ancestors.
Background[]
Anufi is regal and charismatic, but over the years her voice has grown weak from the lack of speaking. In more lucid moments, her strong, commanding presence comes back, and she can cut people down with a word.
She has lost her grip on reality after so long alone and lives haunted by the disappearance of the Sarentu clan. She is a master healer but no longer practices herbalism, convinced that she killed the Sarentu clan with one of her remedies.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora[]
Following the disappearance of the Sarentu clan Mokasa convinced her that she was responsible for their deaths, thus condemning her to exile and isolation. Anufi hid in the shelter, a few kilometers from The Sumideros, and her only company was Zamhil, who took care of her alone. Anufi fell into a kind of madness.

Anufi meets the protagonist
The protagonist sought out Anufi, hoping that she would help find a cure for Alma Cortez. When they finally found her and spoke to her, Anufi only stubbornly repeated that she was the one who killed their clan and showed them containers of supposed poison that was spread in the Circle of Songs. However, they did not believe Anufi's desperate confessions, convinced that John Mercer was responsible for the clan's extermination.
The protagonist's investigation showed that their clan had actually been wiped out by the Mercer, not with any poison. While the Sarentu explored TAP Con-1, Anufi, driven by doubt, reached the Hollows and joined Eywa in the Circle of Ancestors, attempting to search her memories of the Sarentu clan. According to Okul, Anufi spent several days on it. Upon returning to the Hollows, the Sarentu interrupts Anufi from her meditation and tells her what they had discovered in the Circle of Songs, thus confirming her innocence. Anufi forced Mokasa to show her his memories, revealing him as the culprit. Mokasa betrayed the Sarentu clan to Mercer to protect the Kame'tire's children from being kidnapped. After seeing the memories, Anufi exiles Mokasa, returns to the clan, and appoints Okul as her apprentice. Anufi agreed to allow the Kame'tire to join the Resistance and help its wounded members, and ordered the protagonist to hunt a meer deer, whose fat was needed to prepare medicine for Alma.
After the Sarentu delivered the meer deer fat, Anufi administered the drug to Alma at the Resistance hideout. A moment later, however, she recognized Alma in Mokasa's memories as the woman who had led the Mercer to the Kame'tire clan to kidnap her children and then, with Mokasa's help, redirected them to Sarentu. Upon hearing this, Nor, who was accompanying Alma, stabbed her avatar with a knife. She realizes that Alma's avatar will die and suggests to connect her to the Whispering Greatcap in the Hollows so she can show Ri'nela and the protagonist what really happened to the Sarentu clan.
She can later be seen in the final battle together with her clan.
The Sky Breaker[]

Anufi with a dying Mokasa
Mokasa arrives at the Great Games where he reveals no clan would accept him, and he is desperate for a place to rest. This causes controversy, with Sa'ney wanting him gone, but Anufi is more compassionate and says the matter of Mokasa's stay should be dealt with after the Games.
Anufi, along with Alma, are abducted by the RDA. Anufi is rescued just in time from being tortured by being trapped in a room with too much oxygen.
Later, Anufi takes a dying Mokasa to the Bloom of Echoes and stays with him as he dies.
