Asahe is a deceased Na'vi in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. She was the tsahìk of the Aranahe clan and the mother of Etuwa.
Biography[]
Asahe always toyed with the line between clan traditions and making her own way in life. She felt a connection with the kinglor from a very young age, which led to a strong bond between her and the previous tsahìk, and then with the tsahìk's only son Ka'nat. She is described as being "nosy" when she met Ka'nat when he was a teenager.
Years later, Ka'nat and Asahe were beloved as leaders of the clan for their balance and respect of the Aranahe ways. The two fell in love and she gave birth to Etuwa. The bond between mother and daughter was strong, while Ka'nat remained slightly more distant as a father. Asahe soon realized her daughter might have inherited too much of her spirit. Instead of discouraging her, she spent a lot of time distracting Ka'nat from his wild daughter, both excusing and enabling her behind his back.
When the RDA returned to Pandora, Asahe reached out to the human Resistance to offer support. However, she was shot when the Resistance was ambushed by the RDA. The Resistance ensured she returned to Hometree, but Ka'nat threatened to kill the humans if they ever came close to Hometree again. Asahe spent a day under intense care to no avail, and died in Ka'nat's arms as Kayì, the death doula, helped her return to Eywa.
