The Atlas Beetle is a creature seen in Avatar: Pandora Rising.
Atlas Beetles live in a jungle-like environment often called the Atlas Beetle jungle.[1]
The carapace of the atlas beetle is used by many Tipani clan warriors as armor and shields.[2] The hunt and forging of the armor is part of the clan's trials.[3]
Atlas Beetle carapaces, plastrons and mandibles are all rich in an element needed for constructing body armor for RDA soldiers.[1]
