Avatar Beds are large beds used in the Avatar Program. These transportable Avatar beds are designed to safely hold one avatar's shell body in a dormant state until the unit is called into duty by its driver. As the avatar and driver are linked through their matching DNA, only one driver can ever operate a specific avatar.
