This is a list of scientific literature published in relation to the production of the Avatar franchise. Primarily, these are scientific papers which document the research behind the tools and technologies developed for producing the Avatar films. This list does not include works by outside academics who are writing about Avatar, but rather publications by those who were involved in the franchise's production.
