In 2017, Bass was cast as Tsireya, a young Na'vi free-diver from the Metkayina clan and daughter of the clan leaders, Ronal and Tonowari. Early on, Tsireya was described as "the young Neytiri of the ocean", likely in reference to both their statuses as daughters of their respective clans' leaders. Bailey described her character as kind and warm and sees the best in people. She is usually the optimist in her family and tries to sympathize with people because you never know what someone is going through. With her heritage, Tsireya is expected to be an important character in the Avatar sequels.

Bass is part of the 'next generation' cast starring alongside Filip Geljo and Duane Evans Jr., who play fellow young Metkayina members Aonung and Rotxo respectively.

Trivia[]
