Bloated Stem

The bloated stem has adapted to launch exploding spores at threats that come too close as a defense mechanism. This is a problem for RDA air vehicles, which can be damaged when flying at low altitudes. They are a larger cousin of the baby stem. Their spores are tetrahedron-shaped.

In Avatar: The Game, the plants can be shot from a distance to dislodge rocks or clear areas of enemies. They are first encountered in the outskirts of Vayaha Village.
