The Bone Helm Rhino (Na'vi name: nawkx) is possibly the most territorial of all Pandoran herbivores, and akin to an ill-tempered tank. Its bulky, muscular form is entirely covered in solid armor, leaving the breathing hole as the sole vulnerable point on its body.

The Bone Helm Rhino’s primary method of attack is its devastating charge. Its head resembles an ornate combination of shield and plow, and when driven by the Bone Helm Rhino’s formidable bulk it is capable of knocking down anything in its path. The Bully lives in herds of four to six individuals, who work together as a unit to defend their territory, even when the intruder presents no overt threat. They will not give up on a fight until grievously wounded, and their near-suicidal stubbornness is well known among hunters.

The Bone Helm Rhino’s stubbornness is seen as its defining characteristic among the Na’vi, and its name is used both in praise and admonishment. Unyielding determination and foolish inflexibility are two sides of the same coin, and the Bone Helm Rhino can be both hero and villain in their folktales and songs.
