The CARB Underslung Shotgun[1] is an accessory secondary weapon that is compatible with all CARB Base Units and their sub-variety weapons. A standard CARB Base Unit can fit this shotgun under the barrel to provide additional close-range firepower.[1]

The CARB Underslung Shotgun is a highly compact shotgun with its own bullpup ammunition configuration as its larger parent weapon.[1] These 'sub-weapons' can either be attached by any CARB Base Units or can be fired by itself as a makeshift shotgun pistol. The ability to fire a formidable amount of pellets from its 20mm shells makes this sub-weapon useful against the myriad of Pandoran wildlife that likes to get in close and personal.[1]
As it is smaller than the Combat Shotgun, the underslung variety spots less range and ammunition as a compromise of having a more compact and modular design.[1]
