The Chunker is a grenade launcher used for hunting tulkuns[1] and for self-defence purposes against attacking Na'vi or marine creatures from Pandora.
Description[]
Resembling a sort of pintle-mounted grenade launcher, the Chunker is a comparably small weapon mounted on a Picador.[1] It is gyrostabilised and has an advanced optical range-finding/targeting system that allows the gunner to ensure better accuracy.[1]
The Chunker launches 90mm (3.5") depth charges from a large box magazine on its left.[2][1] The depth charge self-calibrates itself beforehand on the appropriate depth it would detonate once fired via the incorporation of a water depth-sensitive "smart" munitions.[1] The explosion of a depth charge cause deafening underwater concussions[1] and can cripple or kill nearly anything within its radius.[2]
