The Cove of the Ancestors is a sacred place to the Metkayina clan. The site serves as a spiritual place and hosts a Spirit Tree similar to the Tree of Souls.
The floating islands of this location differ from the Hallelujah Mountains in that they are smaller and more horizontal in nature due to the different geology found in the distant atolls. The flux concentration is most apparent in their arching circular structure.[1]
As the name suggests, this cove is where the clan lays the remains of their deceased members. Unnamed yellow tendril-like flora absorb the bodies.
