Dawn fruit is a fruit which grows a hard shell that needs to be broken by force in order to reach the juicy core. A close relation of shell fruit, dawn fruit grows on a creeping vine which favors vertical surfaces, often artificial walls.
Beneath its shell is a pink, slightly sour flesh.
It is most commonly found in abandoned RDA facilities throughout Pandora. Rarer dawn fruits are often found in elevated areas in overgrown RDA facilities.
