Sir, this is the general!

Dorman introducing Recom Quaritch and Recom Wainfleet to General Ardmore.

Dorman is a member of the Security Operations, who serves as General Frances Ardmore's aide on Bridgehead following the RDA's return to Pandora in 2168.

Biography

Dorman, whose name tag is recognizable, with General Frances Ardmore.

Dorman presumably arrived on Pandora alongside his superior General Ardmore with the initial ten ISV's and was was stationed on Bridgehead, the new city-sized base located on the shores of one of the oceans of Pandora.

Avatar: The Way of Water

When Recom Quaritch and the first recombinant squad arrived at Bridgehead, he introduced the colonel and Recom Wainfleet to General Ardmore in one of the armor bays. Dorman also followed the general and the two recombinants as they wandered through a construction site and a 3D printing facility manufacturing a S-76 SeaDragon, before arriving at the Ops Center, where they discussed the attacks Jake Sully and his resistance have committed.

He later accompanied General Ardmore on her personal Dragon Assault Ship called the Dragonfly to extract Recom Quaritch, his squad and the children of Jake Sully they had captured. He was also also present during the torture of Miles "Spider" Socorro.

Dorman was seen the last time in the Ops Center with General Ardmore and Charles Stringer listening to Recom Quaritch asking for a ship so he can go look for Sully among the reef clans.

Trivia

• Dorman is not credited in the film nor is his name ever mentioned. His name can only be seen on the name tag of his uniform in some of the behind the scenes images.
• As Dorman addresses Miles Quaritch as "sir" it means that Dorman is lower in his military rank than Quaritch.
• Dorman is played by actor Kevin Dorman, who also plays Mansk and Payakan in Avatar: The Way of Water, as well as the Tractor Operator in Avatar. While it can be assumed that Dorman and the Tractor Operator are the same character, this is yet to be verified.
