The Dragon Patrol Convoy is a C-21 Dragon variant manufactured in the Spires of the Clouded Forest and field-modified to withstand persistent Na’vi attacks, featuring upgraded, heavily insulated targeting systems and additional shielding for its tiltrotor arrays.
It can be found in patrol groups deployed to transport crucial cargo and protect RDA watchtowers across the Spires of the Clouded Forest.

He therefore retains the same characteristics and armament as standard Dragons. However, this variant attempts to address one of their main weaknesses by adding armor to all four tiltrotors. This vulnerability had previously been exploited by Jake Sully, who tore a missile from the Dragon and hurled it into its front-right tiltrotor during the battle of Ayram Alusìng, resulting in the loss of Quaritch’s Dragon.
Its size, armor, and multiple weapon systems make it a formidable enemy, no matter whether in air-to-air or air-to-ground combat. The only disadvantage, engineers have to admit, is its mobility.
