The Dredger is a large ground vehicle that is used for dredging materials out of the bottom of bodies of water. It is found in the Western Frontier in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and a common outpost site to be destroyed in the game.[2]
Specifications / Overview[]
Built on the similar chassis of a crawler-transporter, the Dredger is supported by a total of eight tracked crawlers; four drive units each with two crawlers respectively.[1] The ship's superstructure has four decks, the balcony deck on the side, the main deck, the observation deck and the dredging control deck.[2]
The ship has two dredging pumps and is asymmetrical; one pump is situated at the front whilst the second pump is located on the crawler's starboard.[1] At the top of the dredging control deck is a small tower. This is where the the dredged material is expelled on the portside of the crawler.[1] The cockpit is armored and concealed, with the driver only seeing through cameras.[1]
