You have your mother's keen eye for direhorses. Fine, I will teach you. But fail to obey my precise instructions and I will forbid you from riding ever again.
Unlike other Zeswa direhorse riders, Faiu prefers to get around on his ikran, Anara. He has a deeply seated distrust for the direhorse due to a childhood accident. Since then, Faiu has found a remedy to his insecurities in the thrill of adventure, where accomplishing increasingly dangerous feats enhances his sense of control. On the other hand, he has discouraged his daughter from pursuing her dreams of becoming a rider. When he is not at the heart of the party, Faiu tends to vanish without notice, only to come back telling tall tales of exhilarating danger in his loud and boisterous manner.
