The flaming arrow is a ranged weapon used by the Na'vi, and is relatively short so that it can be maneuvered in a jungle environment for close combat.
Description[]
The arrowhead can be covered with a flammable basket weave filled with sap. This is lit and fired as a signal. Can also be used to ignite targets from a distance.

Like poison arrows, flame arrows can degrade the health of enemy combatants and are much better at driving animals away. Used for shortbows, longbows and heavy bow loadouts, flame arrows are not preferred for hunting animals due to the damage they can cause to the materials, reducing usable resources for meals and gear. The arrows are dipped in an oily substance that catches fire on impact.
When used with the heavy bow, flame arrows can be best used for battles against RDA troops from long range, either to cause consistent burn damage to their machines or to set fire to their surroundings. Heavy bows tend to have the strongest damage per shot, but the flame element adds to it and makes it much easier to put down enemy attacks from a distance.
Flame arrows can only be used with bows that support them as secondary arrow type. Arrows can be crafted from the weapon wheel and require three different components: Stick, Sulphur Pod and Spare Part
Each bow has its own arrow type with different maximum capacities and yields from crafting (after obtaining all upgrades):
