Fortune's Fruit

Fortune's Fruit is the fruit of the Fortune Leaf Cane and a cooking ingredient in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

These fruits are gathered at great risk to the forager, usually by jumping from above, grabbing the fruit, and then using the tree's giant leaves to break the fall. Ripe fortune fruit possesses a leathery red skin and firm watery flesh that the Na'vi describe as extremely sweet. The fruit's seeds are suspended in the flesh and deliver a burning sensation when chewed. ^[1]

Fortune's fruit is symbolic of foolish bravery and youth in the Aranahe Clan's culture. ^[1]

Gathering and Cooking[]

These fruits can be found growing on Fortune Leaf Canes in the Big Leaf biome of the Kinglor Forest, with rarer fortunes fruit growing near the top of the plant. Best-quality fortune's fruit can be harvested in the rain. ^[1]

When used as a cooking ingredient, the resulting dish will have the 'Hearty I' effect, giving the player +30% of their base health.^[1]

Using fortune's fruit as the main cooking ingredient in combination with a yoten egg is rumoured to have a special effect. ^[1]
