Personal life[]
In 2000, his ex-wife actress Claudia Haro supposedly hired an assassin to kill him. At his house, he answered the door and he was shot four times and nearly died, but survived due to the bullets not destroying any major organs. However, one of the bullets hit his eye and exited near his earlobe. 911 was called and although doctors did not expect him to survive, he did.
An investigation found evidence when Haro's brother Manny claimed that his sister had hired the hitman, and she also accused Garrett of molesting his son. Although she pleaded not guilty, in 2012, evidence sentenced her to 12 years of prison for the supposed murder attempt.
A couple years after the attack, he remarried to a woman named Isa and became the father of three children like Kyla Warren who worked in Avatar as a Na'vi Child.
Avatar series[]
He met James Cameron through an acquaintance while filming the 2007 film Beowulf.
He most likely portrays Warren in Avatar: The Way of Water, or at the least, the character is named after him.
