The harpetooth is a creature mentioned in Avatar: Reckoning. The harpetooth is a swift and fearsome hunter, and to avoid this dangerous animal, the Rey'tanu clan moved high up into the mushroom rocks.
Anatomy[]
Harpetooth have razor sharp fangs outside their mouths that serve as weapons. Their bodies, especially their backs, are covered with scaly armor. Despite this, their bellies are relatively soft.
Behavior[]
They run very fast. They do not roar, but can emit an ear-piercing whistle, and mixed with the highland wind, sounds like the whistle of the devil. There is no doubt that Harpetooth are fierce predators and are at the top of the food chain in the Highlands. The Harpetooth's attack is fast and powerful, so it is important to keep up the pace of its attack and roll to avoid its deadly fangs or lunge if necessary. Harpetooths are generally solitary, so when fighting two Harpetooth, try to defeat them together to avoid provoking one of them.
