Heartlands Spineberry is the fruit of an epiphytic flower that grows at the base of the Flamingo Orchid, benefiting from the larger plant's defensive adaptation.
Spineberry Fruit is a multi-fruit; formed of a cluster of fruiting flowers. Beneath its drier outer bracts is a sweet and stickily flesh which Na'vi can eat raw or cooked.
