Ikeyni's banshee is the ikran of Ikeyni, the Olo'eykte of the Tayrangi clan. This ikran has light brown skin with dark burgundy stripes. The lower part of the wings and the crest that grows on the lower part of the jaw are reddish in color and the eyes are a deep yellow.
In 2154, when the Tayrangi were summoned by Toruk Makto to fight the RDA, Ikeyni rode her mount from the eastern cliffs to the Omatikaya jungle to go into battle and commanded the Tayrangi banshee riders to attack alongside Jake Sully. It is unknown if Ikeyni's banshee survived the battle, though the leader herself was not killed.
