Jack Champion is an American actor. In 2017, he officially joined the cast of the Avatar sequels as Miles "Spider" Socorro, the teenage son of Colonel Miles Quaritch who was raised by scientists on Pandora and became very close to Jake Sully's family.

Jack Champion was born on November 16th, 2004.[1] He maintains a personal life out of media attention, but runs an active Instagram page.
He owns a sphinx breed cat named "Butters "Te Ngeru" Champion", following traditional Na'vi naming conventions.[2]
Career[]
Jack Champion has starred in a number of minor film and television roles, as well as several short films, since 2015. He made his wider film debut in the 2017 film Extraordinary (2017) and later received further notoriety for his role in The Night Sitter (2018). He appeared briefly in a minor role in Avengers: Endgame (2019) and played Ethan Landry/Ghostface in the 2023 film, Scream VI.

In 2017, Jack Champion joined the "next generation" cast of the Avatar sequels as Miles Socorro, starring alongside other young actors Jamie Flatters, Britain Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Filip Geljo, and Bailey Bass. Miles is the son of Colonel Miles Quaritch, the scientists took him in after his young age made him ineligible to be sent back to Earth on the ISV Venture Star.
Due to the high amount of filming required for the Avatar sequels, Jack Champion had to drop out of public school. Some scenes were filmed when he was 14 and others at 16, making him joke that it's funny seeing him 2 inches shorter and pudgier in some scenes. The torture scene with Frances Ardmore was the first scene that was filmed. Some minor CGI was used to make Spider's age look consistent across the films. Some of the filming got exhausting since he would have to be filming underwater for days on end.[3]
