The Kentrocapra is a Pandoran creature that appears in Avatar: Pandora Rising.
Kentrocapra are herbivorous creatures living in mountainous regions of Pandora. The Na'vi collect their bones, but their needles are valued most as those are fashioned into armor piercing arrows.
Anatomy[]
Kentrocapra have a blue back that is covered in sharp needles to protect them from predators. Their body is a mix of red and yellow, with black legs.
Trivia[]
- The name is likely a combination of the Greek word kéntros/kentron, meaning "sting"[1], and capra, meaning "goat".
