Kinglor Flower is flora in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

These flowers are the main source of food for the kinglor.

The kinglor flower, also known as the kinglor feeding flower, is an evergreen, epiphytic orchid that grows on a variety of trees in the Kinglor Forest. A monopodial vine, the kinglor flower roots on the trunk and branches of larger trees, with flowered heads growing along its length.

The flowers themselves are formed of a corona of delicate, pink-tinged petals around a pollen rich pistil, both of which are surrounded by protective, leathery sepals. These sepals have been observed both opening and closing around the flower head.

Highly receptive to changes in environmental conditions, the kinglor flower is sensitive to the electronic signatures of RDA scanning equipment.

Kinglor flowers live in symbiosis with kinglor moths and are entirely interdependent. Adult kinglor moths feed on the pollen of kinglor flowers, and the plant requires the kinglor to pollinate the plant as it flies between them. Consequently, any disturbance within either species has a profound effect on the other. Kinglor will only nest in trees where the kinglor flower grows.

The kinglor flower's connection to the kinglor moth make it precious to the Aranahe and they are treated with reverence by the clan. The flowers appear as motifs in the clan's paintings and weavings, and although never harvested, naturally fallen kinglor flower petals and sepals are used to make rare dyes for Aranahe fabric.

Kinglor flowers grow throughout the Kinglor Forest, including inside the Aranahe Hometree. A new kinglor flower budding in a communal area is considered a sign of good fortune.
