Koranu is Nefika's best weaving student who also wants to be known as the best, and needs Nefika to praise her. If her weaving doesn't turn out exactly as she envisioned, she falls apart. She is a bit of a nitpicky perfectionist, but mainly afraid of not living up to how people view her. Due to this, she is usually very eager to help others with weaving, materials, or anything else they may need.
Her father Sa'nop enjoys spending long stretches of time away from Hometree. The stress Koranu puts on herself to be perfect is in part driven by her father's absence and her own sense of not being good enough, and she longs to get his attention.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora[]
The Sarentu is introduced to Koranu by Nefika during their first visit to the Hometree of the Aranahe, located not far from the main entrance.
The Sky Breakers[]
Koranu is very excited about her role as Aranahe's representative in the Great Games. She proudly displays her work to the Zeswa and Kame'tire clans, maintaining Aranahe's reputation as the great weavers of the Western Frontier. The other clans recognize Koranu's great skill and knowledge, but she doubts herself and seeks Nefika's approval.
