The Matanza logo
The Matanza Arms Corp. is an arms corporation employed by the RDA to produce functioning, versatile weapons to be used by SecOps on Pandora. The main system used by the RDA from this corporation is the CARB (Cellular Ammunition Rifle Base) weapon system. Renowned for its adaptability, simplicity, reliability, and innovative ammunition capacities, it has earned the respect of various marines and SecOps soldiers, and has served in many Earth locations as well as Pandora. They also manufacture the grenades used by SecOps, as well as the hexbots that built Bridgehead.

- "Matanza" is Spanish for "slaughter."
- The name “Matanza Arms Corp” may be a reference to the Massacre at Matanzas Inlet in colonial Florida, when Spanish colonists slaughtered French colonists in a fight over indigenous territory
