Maweytakuk is a member of the Ni'awve clan. He is assumed to be the hunt leader of his clan, as he sends Ryan Lorenz's character to kill 10 hexapedes in the Valley of Origins to feed the clan. He is mated to another hunter, Frapohu. Maweytakuk, along with Tsamlok and Sevineyo's mother found Ryan Lorenz unconscious and brought him to the Hometree.
