Mekanei is the leader of Swotulu Village, a Tipani clan settlement in Swotulu.
If the player chooses to join the Na'vi, Mekanei directs Able Ryder in the direction of Lungoray. After Ryder saw the carnage in three camps, and was unable to find Lungoray, Mekanei sent Ryder to an RDA mining factory to seek him there, or if not able to do so, directs Ryder to Unipey. Mekanei survives the game course and still leads the Swotulu Village. He wears Eyktan Armor, and wields a staff.
