The moonfish is a fish in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. It can be found swimming in the waters of the Western Frontier.
Anatomy[]
It received its name due to its shape as it resembles a waxing crescent moon. It has strong jaws that can clamp down and crack the shells of crustaceans.
Behavior[]
The river-dwelling moonfish migrates great distances in search of food.
Trivia[]
- The filename for this creature in Frontiers of Pandora calls them "moonroll". However, their canon name was revealed in The World of Avatar: Updated Edition, although the index of the book still calls it "moonroll".
- They lack an entry in the game's Hunter's Guide.
