The Net Torpedo is an alternate non-lethal munition[1] carried by Mako submersibles for hunting purposes.
Description[]
Not much is known about the Net Torpedo other than the fact that it is a group of four yellow prongs fitted inside a large, tubular torpedo canister.[1] The canister is typically mounted below the Mako's other conventional torpedoes.[1]
Once fired, the four prongs will spread out, revealing a large net that is connected to the prongs.[1] The widening of the prongs increases the nets' surface area, ensuring that the target will be ensnared in the process.[1]
