Background[]
A talented but often bored dyer, Neytu is a classic example of a child lacking a challenge. She once dreamed of racing ikran alongside her older sister, Aleymun, but fell from the floating mountains during her ikran trial six months ago. Luckily, she did not fall to her death, but the experience embedded a deep-seated fear in her that now keeps her from trying again.
Instead, she fills her days with dyeing skills, but despite her talent for the art, she finds it dull. This makes her particularly frustrated when it comes to clumsy Taheywu. She thinks he's wasting his time trying to become a good weaver despite having so many other options. When not in the weaving area, Neytu can usually be found admiring the ikran from a distance.
