Noka'pe the crafter grew up in a large loud family. The youngest of many siblings, she came to relish moments of peace and quiet, annoyed by the chaos around her. She learned to cut through the loudness with anger, and had frequent fights with her father, Tukru. She was closest with her brother, Sosul, whose more poetic inclinations she found soothing. When Sosul decided to take the burden and leave the clan, she was deeply disappointed and isolated herself from her family, keeping a close tie only with her niece Woai.
