O'ame is a Na'vi child from the Hulanta clan in the Wetlands.

According to a work-in-progress version of the script, it seems O'ame is meant to be Ro'até's sister.[1] However, studying the relationships, it seems O'ame is Ro'até's half-sister who has a different father.

Biography[]

A year ago, O'ame and her brother went out to play hide-and-seek, but became lost in the jungle. They encountered a researcher named Steven, who was frightened of the Pandoran wilderness. Upon noticing him, O'ame's brother told her not to make a sound. Steven saw ended up accidentally killing her brother. O'ame found her way back home following tetrapteron in the sky.

Steven became very depressed after that and all he could talk about was coming back to see how the child is doing. Steven passed away a few months ago on Earth, but him and his family have sent a post-mortem email (possibly revealing what happened). During a side quest, Raven uncovers what happened and can give O'ame a piece of her brother's clothing back.

Avatar: Reckoning[]

O'ame always gets into trouble. Ro'até and Raven helped her when she was attacked by some wildlife during strong rain. O'ame was in shock, and Ro'até stayed with her while Raven informed Taktu. O'ame took part in the rite of passage and all the children were attacked by sharptooth lizards and dodiapedes. Ro'até and Raven once again came to help. Once when Ro'até and Raven were on a patrol, O'ame joined them, where they happened upon some SecOps troops in the forest. Raven convinced the soldiers to let her go.

Sometime later, however, the humans kidnapped O'ame, and she was taken to the refinery, she again was saved by Raven and Ro'até. When Raven was trying to convince the Hulanta clan to talk with the RDA instead of fighting, O'ame broke her silence and spoke in Raven's defense in front of Olo'eyktan, Tiaru.

Trivia[]
