Olangi Woman is an unnamed female Olangi clan member. Following the Battle of Ayram Alusìng, she along with the rest of the surviving Olangi clan members were absorbed into the Omatikaya Clan.
Biography[]
She is known to have eventually mated with avatar driver Norm Spellman, who lost his human girlfriend Trudy Chacón in the Battle of Ayram Alusìng.
Together, they produced two Na'vi / avatar hybrid children: Popiti and her unnamed sibling.[citation needed]
Avatar: The High Ground[]
The Olangi Woman is seen sitting next to Norm Spellman as he plays the violin at the nighttime gathering around a camp fire at the Omatikaya Village.
Trivia[]
- The character was first identified by Joshua Izzo at Omaticon 2025, saying that Norm Spellman mated with an Olangi woman who joined the Omatikaya clan.[citation needed]
- This explained the origins of the Olangi clan pieces of clothing Norm is identified as wearing as seen in the Avatar: The Way of Water: The Visual Dictionary.
- Speculation: Following this information, it is highly likely that the Na'vi woman sitting right next to / pressing up against Norm Spellman in Avatar: The High Ground Volume 1 is this aforementioned mate.
