Ongwi is a Na'vi in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. He is the mate of Kitangi and has two children, a son Neyan with Kitangi, and a daughter Lurei who he had with Nefika.

An older hunter who sees himself as master of the skies, Ongwi has the responsibility of guiding young Aranahe to the ikran roost when they are ready for the trial. Ongwi misses his glory days as the clan's master hunter and wishes he could still fly for long stretches and have his own adventures. He misses having that purpose and tends to live vicariously through his students.
He is sympathetic of Etuwa and enjoys her daring and rebellious spirit. This causes some complications for Ka'nat, who is surprised to see an older, respected member of the clan support some of her ideas. It also causes some strife for Ongwi's son, Neyan, who is eager for his family to stay in Ka'nat's good graces.
