Pentìyaru is a Na'vi representative on the council of elders. She speaks for the tsahìks in the assemblies. The library edition of The High Ground features artwork that rather brutally calls her an ancient (instead of elderly) tsahìk. It is not known what clan she comes from.
Pentìyaru is distinguished by the scars that cover the left side of her face and the fact that she is blind in her left eye.

Avatar: The High Ground[]
In 2168, Pentìyaru, on behalf of the council of elders, announced the granting of a new Hometree to the Omatikaya Clan. Not long after, with a human invasion imminent, she attended a council of war called at the request of Jake Sully. This council was mainly attended by the clan leaders and the young warriors represented by Yeyatley, but the Tsahìk, in whose name Pentìyaru spoke, served them with an advisory voice. The council's final decision regarding the approaching humans was to refrain from attacking and try to maintain a peaceful attitude towards the invaders.
Trivia[]
- Pentìyaru and Mo'at are the only known Na'vi to wear their queue on their torso instead of their back. Some speculate this is because Mo'at is the Tsahìk of the clan who is closest to Eywa, and represent how she is always prepared to communicate with Eywa. In Pentìyaru's case, it is likely her being the Tsahìk council representative.
