Raven's Mother was the unnamed mother of Raven. She was one of the original 20 avatar drivers. She was a trained avatar maintenance worker and a professional tactical combat medic.
Biography[]
Raven's mother worked with her husband as a researcher in Forward Base with Edmund Langford, and was part of the Avatar Program. She vomited outside the vomit bag when she awoke from cryosleep, and everyone would remember her and make fun of her for it. She made a 5 dollar bet with her husband on whether they would feel fear when seeing the Na'vi for the first time.
She at some point befriended Will Murphy. Raven's parents made contact with the Hulanta clan and became their friends. They also met Houtun, exchanging many stories with him, became welcomed by their conservative clan, even learning how to paraglide. Finally, they met Zureyn of the Anurai clan and hid a relic for him, but the clan mistakenly believed Raven's parents were thieves until Raven found the truth many years later.
Once Raven's mother even saved young Ro'até and Tiaru when they were at a landing zone of some trigger-happy RDA soldiers. She also thanked Tiaru, saying that because of him, she found a beautiful mineral sample.[1]
In 2154, just before the Battle of Ayram Alusìng broke out, while they were flying with Phil Bennet, they were attacked by the Pandoran wildlife, and all contact was lost. Years later, Edmund Langford asked her child to investigate the disappearance of her and her husband.[1]

According to the Avatar: Reckoning script, it is implied someone secretly killed Raven's parents by making their Samson go on auto-pilot to a dangerous region using some wireless override code. Trinity Harper denies being responsible, but the truth is uncertain.
Both of Raven's parents are presumed deceased by Raven.
Her voice actress seems to be Karen Strassman, but in the collection files, she has another voice actress.
For unknown reasons, Raven's parents seem to share the same dialogue lines. One possibility is that if the player had a male Raven, Raven's father would appear in the story, and a female Raven would have Raven's mother appear. Another possibility is the writers changed the role of the parents during development, as Raven's father seems to have more of a role in later builds than their mother.
