The Recom Hydra Machine Gun is designed for use by Recombinants and Skel Suit personnel. It is not to be confused with the older early model of the RDA .50 caliber Hydra machine gun.
Description[]
The Recom variant of the Hydra Machine Gun is designed to be held like a standard firearm, unlike its predecessor that was typically used as a mounted turret or door gun.
Like the majority of the Recom weapons, it is armed and chambered to fire a 0226-LSAR (Linkable Skel Assault Round) ammunition which breaks into shards upon impact, creating severe lacerations that effectively deal with even the most heavily armored Pandoran wildlife through lethal hemorrhage.
