The Rotary Prospecting Drill Excavator is primarily used for either construction or excavation duties. As a rotary drill, it is designed to dig, penetrate and excavate materials in a more confine and tactical area. [1]
The vehicle could either construct sub-terrain reinforced pillars or use its augers to dig up hard-to-reach minerals in confine spaces. The vehicle's drive and operational controls are done in the open.[1] Because of this, they aren't located in the open due to these vulnerabilities, and are only found in enclosed spaces like mines or caverns.[1][3]
