Scale Bark

Scale Bark is flora and a gear crafting material in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora found most commonly on Twisted Scale Trees in the Kinglor Forest. More rare scale bark can be found around Dyer's Falls in the Rising Spires domain of the Kinglor Forest. Best-quality scale bark can be harvested at night.

The green gnarls of scale bark are extremely hard due to the Twisted Scale Trees' growing method; with the bark itself splitting and repairing numerous times during its growth.

Bark is the tough outer coating of plant stems, roots, and trunks. The Na'vi have learned to gather bark 'galls;' knotty swellings on the plant's surface caused by natural damage. This gathering helps heal the tree and the bark is used to craft a variety of Na'vi gear.
