Shade Leaf Cane

Shade Leaf Cane is flora in Avatar and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Similar to the Fortune Leaf Cane, they are huge trees with giant leaves that the Na'vi have learned to use to slow their fall when traversing the forest. These trees are considered one of the defining features of the Big Leaf biome in the Kinglor Forest.

The shade leaf cane grows as a single woody stem, with large leaves growing regularly from petioles directly from the centre trunk.

In Avatar, Jake Sully fell on one of them during the final battle and survived, while Tsu'tey fell on a Fortune Leaf Cane.
