Slings are not common to the Na'vi, but those who do use them are able to use them with incredible accuracy. Using round seeds, a sling can be used to bounce shots off walls and can accomplish incredible feats.
One of the documented users of the sling was a young Na'vi, Nok. When he was selected to be the next Alaksi Nari, he communed with one of Eywa's roots and she brought forth a vegetal chest to give him it.
