The snapper is a large, lumbering creature that roams around the rivers of Pandora. It uses two stubby sensory tendrils covered in sensitive taste buds to forage for food at the bottom of rivers.
Anatomy[]
The snapper has chitinous armor located on its back, protecting it from predators. The bright patterns on the shell also ward off predators, just like terran Poison Dart Frogs. Air inlets line the bottom of the shell. Its toes have special suckers that assist it in crawling out of water onto land. A long, blunt horn protrudes out of the organism's back. Below this, another even longer horn with a sharp tip can be seen. These extravagant horns are what give this creature its name. At the rear end of this creature is a short tail that looks similar to a terran sea turtle.
