The Spike Plant[1], also possibly known as Theburite (see Trivia), is a plant with large, deadly spikes on it, hence its name. The spike plant is able to rise from the ground and lower itself back down.
Description[]
This plant is already pretty large, as its stem reaches a height of two meters, although thanks to the many sharp spikes on top it seems much higher. Most of the time the plant is hiding underground, but when a fairly large creature approaches, for example, an avatar, it abruptly bursts to the surface. Whether this is a defense mechanism, or something else entirely is unclear.
Appearances and abilities[]
The spike plant first appeared in the iOS/Android version of James Cameron's Avatar: The Game. Ryan Lorenz encountered this plant during his journey through the jungle. Spike plants cover key points on narrow paths, and often the plants grow in groups. The plant is invulnerable to attacks, so the player will have to move quickly and use rolls to get out of the dangerous area.
