I see the raptor stuff is in there, but actually the sounds actually sounded more like what was used in the third, not the first Jurassic Park movie. Every sound they made was similar to the JP3 Raptor "speech". Mr. Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 04:28, January 23, 2010 (UTC)

Direhorse can turn on a dime.[]

A 4 meter tall horse turning on a dime! Yeah right! I'll believe it when I see it. It would be more like a 5 inch wash. Thomas out.

Na'vi name[]

so what is the source of the name Pa'li for the direhorse? I cant find it in the book .. . or anything else . . . am I just not looking hard? isnt that the name of the horse the guy was riding? ralok (talk) 07:57, February 15, 2013 (UTC)

The name of the direhorse in the film is Pale. Faern. 3D-HD-Pics 16:28, February 15, 2013 (UTC)
Your source . . . is another persons fansite . . . that sites a source, innaccuratly? I have already checked the survival guide . . . I swear it isnt there. Also "pale' is pronounced the same way as "pa'li" it sounds like the writer of this dictionary just heard the horses name and mistook it for the species name. ralok (talk) 16:56, February 15, 2013 (UTC)
That dictionary mentions another dictionary that collected words used by language creator Paul Frommer on various occasions. A better source is the PDF you can download at learnnavi.org where the orign of each each word is listed. Faern. 3D-HD-Pics 17:19, February 15, 2013 (UTC)
Once again . . . another fan site is provided as the source - _ - ralok (talk) 21:45, February 15, 2013 (UTC)
There are no fan site here. We show you reliable websites. Kameyutseosì (talk) 22:08, February 15, 2013 (UTC)
Ralok, I'm inclined to agree with you. Alas, they are the only sources of a comprehensive dictionary of Na'vi words. Short from someone getting a philologist on the case, the best we can do is correlate the phonological basis of the language with that present in these dictionaries. Given the information provided, it is safe to say we have the right language. --IWantheUltimateChange (talk) 00:18, February 16, 2013 (UTC)
That fan site happens to be in direct contact with Dr. Paul Frommer ever since it exists. If their directionary says that a word comes from Paul Frommer, then it comes from Paul Frommer. Btw, he also runs a blog at http://naviteri.org, if that makes you happier. Faern. 3D-HD-Pics 14:18, February 16, 2013 (UTC)
