Tangled Stream flows through the entire Shadow Wood. Beginning in Echo's Force, the Tangled Stream flows along a whimsically curved channel, covering most of the Shadow Woods with its waters until it reaches Gossamer Lakes in the western Silk Woods. There it is divided into three streams; Learner's River flows to the north, the Threaded River to the northeast, and Stepping Stone River to the east.
