The Circle is the Zeswa Clan's home.
Built with tents fashioned out of woven zakru wool, the Circle houses both the Zeswa and the clan's zakru companions. The Circle is not a permanently established home, however, and is built to be able to be packed up and moved once the zakru decide to migrate to better feeding grounds. The zakru migration typically occurs once in a generation, and the Zeswa follow the zakru to where the herd decides to stop and feed, pitching their tents again and rebuilding The Circle once the zakru settle.
In 2169, The Circle was located directly south of Greatheart Lake, within the Mother of Rivers domain of the Upper Plains.
Later that year the Zeswa migrated in the Heart of the Plains.
Camp Layout[]
Hunter's Tent[]
Immediately to the right of the main entrance to the Circle is the Hunter's Tent, which is a light pink color. The tent includes a fire at which the player character can pass time, and Solali, a vendor who provides Zeswa weapons, weapon mods, weapon crafting materials, and weapon designs in exchange for Clan favor.
Living Area[]
To the left of the entrance and the Hunter's Tent is the Living Area, under a red tent. This is where the majority of the Zeswa are gathered. A Cooking Station, where the player can cook food, is located in the Living Area, and Novao the cook stands at one of the openings of the Cooking Station. He trades cooking ingredients and cooked meals for Clan favor.
Maker's Tent[]
Connected to the Living Area, north past the Cooking Station, is the Maker's Tent, made with yellow cloth. Here, near the back of the tent, there is a Crafting Table, where the player can craft new weaponry and gear. There are also two Player Stashes, where the player can store items that they do not currently need. Next to one of the Player Stashes is Akru, a vendor who exchanges Zeswa gear, gear mods, gear crafting materials, and gear designs in exchange for Clan favor.
Dancer's Ring[]
Just past Akru is the Dancer's Ring, where Zeswa warriors can be seen engaging in dance-fighting competitions. Akru watches from where he stands in the Maker's Tent.
Council Tent[]
Under vibrant purple cloth, and just past the Hunter's Tent, is the Council Tent, where Zeswa leaders make decisions for the future of the clan. It includes a fire where the player character can pass time, and the Changing Place where the player character can change their appearance.
Pa'li Grounds[]
Behind the Council Tent are the Pa'li Grounds, where Zeswa tend to resident direhorses. During the quest The Wandering Clan, the player character can visit this area to speak to Karmong about the Zeswa clan's connection to the direhorse. A Zeswa celebration kite, traditionally lifted by members of the Sarentu Clan and used to signal various celebrations, flies from a tree in this location.
Ikran Perch[]
From an archway in the Maker's Tent is a slope up to the Ikran Perch, where Zeswa and visitors to the clan land their ikran. After the quest The Weeping Gorge, Sosul can be found here. A tree near the Ikran Perch has another celebration kite.
The Nursery[]
Under a blue tent and near the Council Tent and Maker's Tent is the Nursery, where Tamu tends to Ko'akte as she sleeps next to her mother. During the quest The Wandering Clan, the Sarentu can visit and learn more about Ko'akte from Tamu. Near the Nursery is the clan's Community Basket, at which the player can contribute items they no longer need and receive Clan favor.
Cheesemaker's Tent[]
Past the Nursery is a small tent known as the Cheesemaker's Tent. Kìn is usually found here, sitting at the fire at which the player character can pass time.
Dairy Camp[]
Near the Cheesemaker's Tent and surrounded by sleeping zakru is the Dairy Camp. A Cooking Station is here at which the player character can cook meals. There is a fire that the player can use to pass time.
