Several months ago, we talked about a Chinese writer who filed a plagiarism case against James Cameron. Writer Zhou Shaomou claimed that as much as 80% of the plot and key elements of the movie "Avatar" is similar to his 1997 novel, "Tale of the Blue Crows," a novel which recounts the epic journey of six astronauts to a distant planet, home to a race of blue-skinned beings. His first case was dismissed for insufficuent material, but this second attempt has earned him his day in court. Another law suit filed by a different writer has also been accepted in court in China. He Dexiang, a Beijing resident, claimed Cameron's movie was based on his 2003 script. For more information, here is the article in total:
